Hello~
My name is Flora Li. I was born in Washington state, where I spent the first eleven years of my life as a nerdy, oblivious, Cartoon Network junkie.
For about a year and a half, my family relocated to China. My brother and I hopped around various International and Chinese public schools, where we learned many wonders and shortcomings of society. After the episode in China, my family resumed residency in the states--this time in San Diego, California.
That was when I discovered and began practicing Falun Dafa, which contrary to the political propoganda I was exposed to China, is a peaceful mind-body practice, based on the principles of truthfulness, compassion & tolerance. (Please read this if you have free-time.) It's really shaped my ideals and my development as a human being.
I began dabbing into digital art mediums and basic html in my early teens. Throughout middle school and high school I found myself spending a great deal of time trying to hone drawing skills and learning exploring various other fields of interest.
Currently, I am a college freshman at New York University, majoring in Media, Culture and Communications. (Not an art major!) I intern at New Tang Dynasty Television, and in my free time partake in various hobbies as you can view in the different galleries.
